Here is a roundup of events happening in May of 2012 in the greater Los Angeles area. Of note, there are a couple of Samuel Adams events (including a Utopias tasting at Surly Goat) and The Bruery is celebrating its fourth anniversary with several LA events.
Here is another one that was served at The Bruery Anniversary Tasting Dinner at Spice Table. Trade Winds Tripel is a Belgian style golden ale with a Southeast Asian twist, being that rice is used in place of candi sugar in the mash and it’s spiced with Thai basil. This beer is The Bruery’s Summer […]
Here is my micro-review of The Bruery Otiose, a sour brown ale that is aged in oak barrels with guavas. I got to try this one at The Bruery Anniversary Tasting Dinner at Spice Table, where it was paired with a coconut caramel apple crumble.

I’m here at Far Bar for the official release of The Bruery / Eagle Rock Brewery Go Team, part of The Bruery’s freeway series. This beer is a Belgian mild with an interesting story. The Bruery has never actually made a mild before, so when the brewers from Eagle Rock Brewery they took some inspiration […]
Here is a list of upcoming events in April! This month Deschutes Brewery from Oregon is rolling into town and will be making a bunch of stops around town to show off their lineup of beers. (UPDATED 4/24/12)
I’m here at the Lazy Ox in Downtown LA and my buddy Bill just tapped a keg of The Bruery Saison De Lente.
