I started out 2011 with an idea to keep track of all the great beer I was having. Well long story short, people started to notice my ritual of taking pictures and making notes on the aroma and flavor profiles. I had several of my close friends tell me that I shouldn’t be hording this knowledge to myself, but share it with the world. So here we are.
This blog is going to be an experiment for me. I have never been one to share much of what is going on in my head, but beer seems to be the one thing I can pretty much go on and on forever about. Please feel free to leave me feedback as I’m kind of just making shit up as I go.
So what can you expect out of this blog? Well number one is information about beer. I am going to be profiling different beers that I have been able to find in the wild and giving my two cents about them. I have a wide variety of tastes, so expect everything form pilsners to sours. Secondly, you’ll get information on where to buy beer. I am going to traverse this fine city and deconstruct the beer offerings, quality, and value of pretty much any place that sells beer. These two categories will be my primary focus as I get this project rolling but I do have a couple more ideas that may get added to this list if things go well.
