LA Beer Week 2012 Pick of the Day

Here is my pick of what’s the best event happening today for LA Beer Week (to be fair there will probably be many great events each day, but this is just my 2 cents on if you can only hit one make it this one).

Friday 9/28/12 my pick is the New Belgium Tap Takeover at Link n Hops in Atwater Village. They will be pouring a few different brews from the Lips of Faith series and at 8pm they will be tapping a keg of Super IPA, the New Belgium and Alpine Brewing collaboration beer. There will also be giveaways throughout the night.

Saturday 9/29/12 my pick is Ultimate Flight Night III at 38º Degrees in Alhambra. This is the event you don’t want to miss. 38º Degrees knows how to bring the A game and will have reps and brewers from Stone, Kern River, Eagle Rock Brewery, The Bruery, Beachwood, Ballast Point, Firestone Walker, and Bootleggers. And it’s a sure bet that all of them will be bringing something special for the evening. And because it is Flight Night, you will be able to get flights of all these amazing beers. The party starts at 6pm and I highly recommend calling ahead to get a table if you don’t want to fight for a spot at the bar.

Sunday 9/30/12 the only event you should be going to is the LA Beer Week Celebration at Union Station. Tickets are still available, but they did sell out last year. THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT If you happen to be looking for more beer after the event, or didn’t get a ticket, I highly recommend walking on down to Far Bar in Little Tokyo after the event as they will have some surprises in store for Sunday.
